Bedtime. A great time to Smell the Roses… Last night when I was putting Robert to bed we had our story time and then we started to “talk”. Boy, if my son had to be quiet for 5 minutes, he would explode! lol It came to my mind to play a game with him… I ASKED A BUNCH OF SILLY QUESTIONS… He loved it! and I had a time to stop my hectic life and Smell the Roses…
All the Questions were FAVORITE based ones:
What’s your favorite color? Black (like Daddy)
What’s your favorite number? 5 (because he is five)
What’s your favorite character? Mickey
What’s your favorite TV program? Backyardigans (because they use their imagination to be whatever they want to be)
What’s your favorite pet? Dogs (he does not have one yet, but this is another story to post)
What’s your favorite animal? Elephants (because they are the strongest)
What’s your favorite fruit? Bananas
What’s your favorite place? Toys R Us (or any toy store, don’t know why he says Toys R Us, we’ve barely been there!)
What’s your favorite song? #$&# (don’t ask me, is a song a friend made up and I didn’t understand a word!)
What’s your favorite… OK by this time we both were sleepy! :) But there are lots of other questions I can ask!!!!

Oh, Leyda, I love this! Bedtime is always such a sweet time (once they actually manage to get there!)
My daughter (who is now 12) and I used to have a little ritual for years. We'd pray together and then the last thing we'd say to each other was, "Mwa, mwa, uh, uh, I love you and you're a sweet girl."
(Mwa, Mwa was kisses; uh, uh, was hugs!)
I have no idea how it started, but I miss it! ;0) I reminded her of it the other night and she just laughed and said, "Oh, mom!" Sniff! ;0)

Hi Melinda!
You know... our kids go through stages, and eventhough there are some we wish last one day there are others we wish last forever!
I miss singing to my son the song from An American Tail: SOMEWHERE OUT THERE! I love that song! It was his favorite bedtime song for a looooong time. He called it the moon song. But now... HE IS BIG for that song. But he reminded me to sing it to his future sister when she is born! lol
Thanks for the Info Olivia! Hope to see you around often! :)
