Yeah… how bad when you have lots to do and your body says… “No way!” You try ‘Oh yeah!’ and your body shouts ‘Nah ah!’… Barely moving, barely speaking, barely eating, it was no life! And were are my essential oils? Missing in action! Somewhere… in a box… from the move. Bah! Today I came to life!!!! Whoohooo! I thought it was going to last for ever…

Fever, body ache, some cough, headaches like hell, and my throat couldn’t pass even water! So yesterday was it! I went to the doctor, fearing it might be a flu (with no runny nose… hmmm doesn’t sound like it!) or strep. So he did the test… and no strep… so he suspected flu/virus infection! Can I have both???? hmmm yeah! But personally, with no runny nose… it doesn’t add up for flu. Still I asked him about the H1N1 flu. Funny his answer… “It doesn’t matter if you have that one or not. At this point it might take a few more days to go away. You can take the test at the hospital (where it is only available), but it might cost you $300. Besides if it is positive, there is nothing we can do. We treat H1N1 for hospitalized people with Tamiflu. So if your symptoms get worst and have fever over 40 then go to the hospital.” WHAT? Say it again! WHAT! There is no point! $300? what about my health insurance? OMG! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! So disappointing! Right or wrong? I don’t know but so disappointing!!!

So I went back home with my 1/2 soul, 1/4 body and 0 hopes for feeling better. And since I was abusing my body the whole day making extra efforts, it was shutting down! :( Insomnia and my tonsils on fire! What the hell of a night!

Yesterday, I had to go grocery shopping (excuse to get my husband’s birthday present plus great meat specials). So in my insomnia that  night before, I thought about taking some aspirin to relieve my tonsils inflammation. It worked like a charm. Not that they didn’t hurt anymore but at least I COULD SPEAK WELL and not like I had my face stuck! So I did the shopping and got myself two presents… I will post about this later… but I got the Green Pans (non-stick pans with Thermolon technology, greener and safest technology option for traditional Teflon non-stick pans) and bamboo cooking spoon and spatula!

I can’t believe I am going to say this, but I MISS GOING TO WORK! I need to get back to work! Oh well, as long as it doesn’t go away completely! I don’t want to make anybody sick! Is Thursday and I am still stuck with my SORE throat and tiredness. :( Hope to be totally well by tomorrow… is a busy busy weekend…
